Medical Information Specialist (Pharmacy Technician/Pharmacist)

We are currently seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician/Pharmacist as a Medical Information Specialist (m/f/d) for our renowned pharmaceutical client. In this role, you will play a key part at the interface between healthcare professionals, patients, and internal departments. With your experience in the healthcare sector and your pharmaceutical understanding, you will ensure competent, precise, and targeted medical and scientific communication. The position is initially limited to 8 months through temporary staffing, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

• Handling scientific inquiries: Independently answering complex medical and pharmacological inquiries from physicians, pharmacists, and patients via written and telephone communication.
• Safety & Quality: Early identification and process-compliant forwarding of pharmacovigilance reports and quality defects.
• Documentation & Systems: Complete recording of all customer contacts in the CRM system, as well as support with trend analyses and audits/inspections.
• Information materials & standards: Creation, review, and maintenance of standard medical responses, as well as coordination of officially mandated training materials.
• Liaison: Close collaboration with internal departments (Medical Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, QA, Regulatory Affairs, Sales).
• Remote work: 2 days/week.

Qualifications

• Qualifikation: Abgeschlossene Ausbildung als PTA oder Studium als Pharmazeut/in / Apotheker/in mit fundierter Kenntnis des deutschen Gesundheitswesens.
• Erfahrung: Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in Apotheke, Klinik, medizinisch-wissenschaftlichem Umfeld; Erfahrung in der Kundenbetreuung.
• Fachwissen: Verständnis der regulatorischen Vorgaben zur Arzneimittelinformation (In-/Off-Label-Abgrenzung) sowie idealerweise Audit-Erfahrung.
• IT & Digitales: Sehr gute MS-Office-Kenntnisse, Erfahrung mit CRM-Datenbanken und Aufgeschlossenheit gegenüber KI-gestützten Tools.
• Sprachen & Soft Skills: Verhandlungssicheres Deutsch und fließendes Englisch; starke Kommunikationsfähigkeit, strukturierte Arbeitsweise, Verantwortungsbewusstsein und Teamgeist.
